## Overview
We are seeking a Shop Technician/Fire Extinguisher Technician/Fire Suppression Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of power tools and fire extinguishers and in fire protection systems but not required, willing to train the right person. Candidate must be willing to work independently once trained.
Training provided on the job by Turner Fire Protection
Certification training available for right candidate (Captive Aire, Amerex, and Protex)
Company vehicle provided for running errands and deliveries.
## Responsibilities
- Service fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 17A, 17, 96, and 10 guidelines
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for maintenance
- Conduct regular maintenance of fire extinguishers
- Keep/maintain inventory at the shop
-Maintain equipment and tools
-Perform regular vehicle maintenance.
-Stoke parts and inventory
-Clean shop and equipment
-Deliver parts as needed
-Provide a helping hand for larger jobs (This could entail overnight hours occasionally)
## Skills
- Able to work with hand tools and willing to learn
-Clean Driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.50 per hour
