The Director of Operations plays an important strategic role in the success of the Little Caesars Brand. The Director of Operations is charged with driving and implementing operations /business strategies in all the units within their specified Brand, designed to achieve objectives focused on driving sales, guest count, and profits for the business. The position is responsible for managing all areas of multi-unit operations within their assigned Brand, including but not limited to, delivering outstanding hospitality, food cost, labor cost, P&L responsibility, running shifts, teaching and learning, sanitation, safety, and cleanliness, while adhering to all company policies and procedures. The Director of Operations will select, manage, and build a team of Little Caesars GM/District Managers that bring to life the Little Caesars Culture daily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the QSR industry (multi unit).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience; particularly in the field of food- service industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Service-oriented, and a collaborative influence style.
- Certified in service training, safe food Handling and first aid.
- Experience with knowledge of all state and local laws.
Essential Functions
Building and Maintaining the Little Caesars Brand:
- Understands and promotes the Little Caesars culture.
- Stays abreast of people and competitive issues/events.
- Uses industry knowledge to benefit the organization.
- Overall responsibility for planning, launching, and sustaining a comprehensive operations strategy in support of the brand image, critical to achieving brand goals.
- Contributing and upholding the Little Caesars brand standards.
- Ensuring that Little Caesars achieves business and development commitment goals within assigned Brand.
- Ensuring the Little Caesars Corporate office departments deliver services and resources to company operations in an appropriate and timely fashion.
- Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes which provide a high level of guest service at all points of contact.
- Partner with Marketing and the Field Operations team to train brand stewardship
- Leads the succession planning process in partnership with HR including at the unit level: recruiting, turnover, promotions, terminations.
- Drives and monitors store cleanliness, Brand Equity Evaluation, Food Safety and Sanitation
- Plans and assigns daily goals, tasks and assignments and/or instructs direct reports on the same.
- Drive management direct reports and hourly team members in the areas of new product introductions and promotional programs; drive the implementation of these items and drive and/or provide training to management team/direct reports and hourly team members accordingly.
- Protecting the company by ensuring compliance with all wage/hour, federal and state laws and requirements as well with Little Caesars Corporate expectations.
- Ensures a safe and positive environment for team members and guests: proactive approach to worker’s compensation, general liability and team member relations.
- Seeks and welcomes the opportunity to learn new techniques and tasks.
- Builds support and commitment among others around company initiatives.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
Financial Management:
- Meets or exceeds company sales and profit expectations while maintaining standards in assigned Brand.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information and extrapolate the business and financial significance of the information.
- Ability to understand, interpret and apply financial disciplines to all aspects of business.
- Ability to forecast and project trends: proactively manage the financial viability of the business.
- Establish and oversee budgets and identify quarterly priorities and savings opportunities.
- Conduct routine internal assessment audits and complete detailed written assessments to help determine preparedness of location and concurrence with brand standards and programs.
- Responsible for financial controls, personnel management, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality, and general business operations and possess the organizational agility to report on these measures to COO on a regular basis.
- Manage turnover and costs associated.
- Ensure budget and timeline adherence for projects and deliverables.
- Cross-functional business knowledge with a P&L orientation.
- Leverage the use of talent analytics to provide insights and make recommendations to improve talent ROI and overall strategies.
Building a High Performing Team:
- Identify, attract and on-board the best talent with the goal of 100% staffed at all locations.
- Implement strategies and tactics to ensure the organization has the necessary talent to meet growth objectives.
- Executes the professional development practices at Little Caesars to facilitate active mentorship and training.
- Utilized and follows up to ensure the process for performance reviews, compensation, and internal promotion are executed at the field level.
- Works in partnership with COO, to execute the company’s pay for performance strategies.
- Supports the talent strategies to accelerate our talent pipeline.
- Identifies processes that allows the company to leverage its size and scale and be more efficient and effective as we continue to grow the brand.
- Proactively enhance our work environment and team member-centric culture.
- Meet or exceed team member retention goals.
- Partners with COO, to implement the restaurants engagement strategy & initiatives.
- Assists to develop progressive and pro-active programs that assist in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Ensures that Team member Relations policies and procedures are in use at the restaurants to ensure that a healthy work environment is guaranteed.
- Looks at and addresses adverse trends in turnover.
- Ensure the exit interview process is followed and executes strategies to address turnover issues.
- Coach, mentor and raise the Field Ops team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession and implementing improvements as required.
- Develops teamwork. Provides quality time with team members through the open-door policy.

Physical Requirements
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 30-pound lifting requirement.
- Responsible for utilizing office/restaurant equipment. The effective operation of equipment requires the use of all limbs, fingers and the ability to see.
- Spends approximately 40% of his/her time standing and walking swiftly, therefore, he/she must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and move freely using all limbs and seeing at close/long distances.
- Attend meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. as well as visit Little Caesars locations, Vendors, etc.; therefore, he/she must be able to travel autonomously, possibly to other geographical locations, in inclement weather, with little to no prior notification given.
- Must be able work under a high degree of stress on a physical, mental, and emotional level; this includes performing work in a fast-paced manner and making timely decisions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
