Job Title: Allied Sales Representative - Ohio Branch
Reports To: Allied Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Allied Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage our strong forklift customer base to drive sales of complementary warehouse products and solutions, including industrial racking, shelving, storage systems, warehouse optimization equipment, and related material handling accessories. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them maximize warehouse efficiency, safety, and productivity beyond their forklift fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, building long-term customer relationships, and capitalizing on existing accounts in the material handling industry.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for warehouse racking, shelving, storage solutions, mezzanines, conveyor systems, and other allied warehouse products.
Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site warehouse assessments and needs analyses to recommend optimal storage and material handling solutions that improve space utilization, workflow, and safety.
Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing forklift customers, as well as new prospects in manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, food & beverage, and other warehouse-intensive industries.
Cross-Selling & Upselling: Work closely with the forklift sales and service teams to introduce allied products to current and prospective customers.
Sales Process Management: Prepare professional proposals, quotes, and layouts; negotiate terms; and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project close and handover to installation teams.
Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new warehouse technologies to position our solutions effectively.
Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (engineering, installation, service, and finance) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in material handling, warehouse equipment, racking/shelving, industrial supplies, or related industries.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, storage systems (selective racking, drive-in, push-back, cantilever, etc.), and material flow best practices is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read layouts/drawings and explain technical solutions clearly.
Self-motivated with strong prospecting and closing abilities.

Pay:
$60,000 base salary + Commission
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
