Job Summary
The Staff Accountant is responsible for overseeing the billing process for customers and assisting management with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This individual supports the leadership team and sales team by generating invoices, posting payments and maintaining organized financial records to aide in reporting. A high level of ethics is expected, the ability to multitask is a must, and a sharp attention to detail is required in order to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with billing processes, spreadsheets, and basic accounting duties, have a can-do attitude and positive outlook. They would also have aspirations of growing into a more complex finance role as the company grows.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Generate customer invoices on a daily basis
· Enter and categorize transactions in accounting software
· Satisfy billing inquiries from customers
· Maintain general ledger accuracy
· Issue payments in a timely manner
· Generate monthly commission reports
· Reconciliation of monthly bank and credit card transactions
· Provide general administrative and clerical support by creating forms and spreadsheets as well as completing other various projects
Skills & Abilities
- QuickBooks Online proficiency is required
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite
- Advanced excel skills
- High levels of accuracy and reliability with excellent attention to detail
- Be adaptive in an everchanging, growing company
- Must be highly organized
- Be able to think proactively without specific instruction
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Trustworthy and conscientious when handling sensitive confidential financial information
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Requirements

· Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting
· Experience: At least two years relevant work experience
· A demonstrated track record of consistent, long-term employment
· Must not have a criminal background
· Must be able to pass a drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
