Job Title: Maintenance Lead - 1st & 2nd shifts

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus
Job Summary of the Maintenance Lead - 1st & 2nd shifts: With this role, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance teams handling the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of crucial equipment throughout the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth operations, minimize mechanical downtimes, and enhance production efficiency. By overseeing the maintenance of critical processes, you will be instrumental in maintaining optimal product flows and production line operations, thereby driving performance and contributing to overall facility success. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining seamless equipment functioning to keep the plant in top shape for optimal production.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Lead - 1st & 2nd shifts:
Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, and machine repairs.
Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
Supervise and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to ensure high performance.
Ensure timely scheduling of maintenance in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
Develop and implement effective maintenance systems (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOPs, Safety, etc.).
Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures.
Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor maintenance performance. Provide regular status reports to the maintenance management team.
Ensure compliance of maintenance tasks with USDA regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
Education & Experience Requirements of theMaintenance Lead - 1st & 2nd shifts:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience providing training, coaching, or mentoring to staff, or managing a process or project.
Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts for process issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
May be required to work long hours and weekends.
Advanced technical skills in various fields such as ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, and mechanical and electrical systems are advantageous.
Great leadership skills, planning abilities, and team collaboration skills.
Capacity to create a positive work environment while fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
