Role Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Visiting Angels of WNC, you will provide compassionate and professional in-home care to seniors in the Asheville and Weaverville area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care while enjoying the flexibility to choose your own hours. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean living environment.

Provide medication reminders as per care plans.

Follow care plans created by our Registered Nurse (RN) and participate in ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- CNA certification and valid driver’s license.

Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.

Strong communication skills and ability to provide emotional support.

Ability to pass a background check with no charges beyond traffic violations.

Ability to pass a drug test, including THC.
Bonus If You:
- Have experience in home care or a related field.

Are bilingual or have proficiency in languages other than English.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling options from Monday to Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only, serving the Asheville and Weaverville areas of North Carolina.
