Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our women's health clinic. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including rooming, annual exams, and in office procedures.
Duties
- Organizing patient load for providers daily.
- Rooming patients and assessing their needs for office visit.
- Gathering basic vitals from patients.
- Reading lab reports and consulting with providers.
- Communicating with patients regarding post-visit care.
- Maintaining a clean, positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar patient care role is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient service protocols and familiarity with hospital or outpatient settings.
- Understanding of medication administration procedures and safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
- A compassionate demeanor with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
