What you’ll do
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend effective solutions
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and alignments
- Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests
- Provide outstanding customer service by clearly communicating repair needs and options
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology advancements
- Assist in sales efforts by educating customers on additional services that may benefit their vehicles
- Maintain shop equipment and building clean to keep a nice clean and safe work environment.
Basic qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required for vehicle maintenance tasks
Preferred qualifications
- 3-5 experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience as a service technician or mechanic
- Familiarity with automotive service procedures and standards
