Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional care for children and oversee household responsibilities within a private residence. This role combines nurturing childcare with efficient household management, ensuring a safe, organized, and joyful environment. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness
- Plan and execute engaging activities tailored to each child's age and interests, fostering growth and learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary needs, incorporating meal planning and preparation skills
- Assist with personal transportation needs such as school runs, appointments, or extracurricular activities
- Maintain a clean and organized household through residential housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up shared spaces
- Manage household supplies inventory, coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed, and ensure the home operates smoothly
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nannying or private home setting, including experience with multiple children and infants
- Strong background in childcare with knowledge of toddler care, preschool activities, and early childhood development
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Skilled in meal preparation for children with attention to nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions
- Ability to provide personal transportation assistance safely and responsibly using a valid driver’s license
- Experience in residential housekeeping, cleaning, and household organization is essential
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills who is proactive in managing household needs effectively
