J.H.T has immediate openings to honest, hardworking, safety-minded, dependable drivers. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 year business related driving experience within the last 3 years. We are looking for drivers who have a Professional delivery work ethic. (Uber, Taxi, Bus, Courier, pizza delivery, courtesy shuttle, limousine, package delivery, and USPS all qualify)
Experience with driving 26ft Box Truck, Step Vans or similar a plus!
Fast Learning, Positive Attitude, Reliable, and know how to be a Team Player!
CDL is NOT required
· Competitive Pay commensurate with experience
· Applicants must have good customer service skills, and acceptable appearance
Requirements:
· Clean driving record
· Must pass drug test (marijuana detection included) and DOT physical
· Must pass criminal background check (NO FELONIES OR MISDEMEANORS)
· Random drug screen for all drivers while employed
· Must be at least 21 of age
· Ability to lift and carry approximately 150 bs. (Dolly Provided)
· Comfortable with driving upwards of 100 miles per day in Palm Beach County.
Job Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely delivery and pickup packages to business, store and homes
· Accurately record pickup and delivery data using a handheld scanner and record signatures as needed
· Organize truck pre-dispatch to ensure efficient route operations
· Ability to balance customer needs and company's needs
· Make good decisions when working independently
· Have strong communication and problem solving skills
· Handles pressure and difficult customers well
