Overview
We're looking for a dedicated and organized Golden Road Pub Warehouse Support team member to ensure our four pubs are always stocked and running smoothly. This hands-on role is crucial for managing the flow of products from our main warehouse to our pub locations, playing a direct part in our daily operations. Responsibilities
- Safety First: Always maintain a safety-first mentality, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures, especially when operating equipment.
- Forklift Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a forklift for various tasks, including moving pallets of raw materials and finished goods, and assisting with truck loading and unloading.
- Local Deliveries: Supply and deliver finished goods and raw materials to our 4 local pubs, ensuring timely and efficient replenishment for their production needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a highly organized warehouse environment. Ensure all finished goods follow a strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) process to optimize freshness and minimize waste.
- Inventory Support: Actively support inventory counts and help resolve any discrepancies, contributing to accurate inventory records.
- System Transactions: Complete all necessary inventory transfers and shipments within our Obeer inventory system.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Communicate and schedule maintenance needs for our pub delivery truck, ensuring its reliable operation.
- Physical Demands: Consistently and safely perform all assigned duties, which may involve physical exertion.
- Issue Escalation: Promptly escalate any issues or concerns to management to ensure timely resolution.
- Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the brewing and pub operations
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ Fork Lift driving experience preferred.
- Experience driving Box Trucks preferred.
- Experience in inventory management.
- Understands and employs a Safety-First approach.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow through, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to work flexible schedules to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency working with Outlook email.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
Education and Requirements
- 2+ years of Warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- CDL - Class A license required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency working with Outlook email.
- Comprehension of general logistics/shipping/receiving.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Lift and maneuver a 15.5gal beer keg, roughly 160lbs.
