Our sandwich shop is seeking a responsible and fast Prep Cook & Dishwasher.
Must be available to work from 4 or 5 pm to 10 pm 4-5 days a week
Previous kitchen experience encouraged. Candidates should work with a sense of urgency. And be willing to work past 10pm on occasion
Our prep crew makes an additional $6-8 p/hour in tips after 2 weeks of training.
Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting and portioning meats and cheeses. Undertake basic cooking duties such as mixing sauces from recipes, boiling foods etc.
Prepare simple dishes such as deli salads and pestos.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
