Job Overview
Our growing healthcare office is seeking a warm, capable, and dependable person to join our team as a full-time Office Assistant.This is not strictly a desk position. The Office Assistant plays an important role in the entire patient experience—from welcoming patients and managing the front office to assisting them with prescribed in-office therapies. The right person will enjoy working with people, stay composed in a busy environment, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and help them feel welcome and comfortable
- Check patients in and out and manage the daily appointment schedule
- Answer phones, return messages, and respond to routine patient questions
- Schedule appointments and communicate with patients regarding upcoming visits
- Collect and accurately record patient payments
- Assist with intake forms, patient records, and other office documentation
- Guide patients through prescribed therapy protocols
- Set up, operate, and clean therapeutic equipment as trained
- Prepare patient and therapy areas for each visit
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality
- Keep the reception area and office clean, organized, and welcoming
- Anticipate what needs to be done and assist the team throughout the day

Prior knowledge of our services is not required. Office-specific procedures, systems, and therapy protocols will be taught.
