About the Role
As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the seamless operation of complex production machinery and facility infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime, optimize equipment performance, and uphold the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic malfunctions to maintain continuous production flow.

Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unscheduled outages.

Manage the upkeep of essential plant utilities, including HVAC, steam systems, and electrical infrastructure.

Coordinate with production teams to prioritize repairs and minimize operational disruptions during maintenance activities.

Maintain precise documentation of repairs, parts usage, and work orders within the digital ticketing system.

Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere to strict food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.

Perform precision adjustments and component replacements to align machinery with OEM specifications.

Proactively identify and report safety hazards or potential equipment failures to leadership.
Qualifications-
Proven experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and mechanical systems.

Proficiency in reading technical schematics and following standard operating procedures.

Ability to safely operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power equipment.

Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and GMP environments.

Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in varied temperature settings.

Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and control system diagnostics.

Background in welding, fabrication, or facility utility maintenance.

Familiarity with conveyor systems and high-speed packaging machinery.

Certification or experience in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts.
