We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service/Install Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can independently diagnose, service, repair, and install residential and commercial HVAC systems with little to no supervision. This individual will demonstrate exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to working collaboratively with a team while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs or system improvements
- Complete service calls efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation
- Collaborate with office staff and fellow technicians to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Maintain and respect company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition
- Participate in on-call rotation is required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service and installation experience
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on a wide variety of HVAC equipment
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
