Wellspring Circle is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support
Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Habilitation team serving adults with
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).

DSPs will provide direct support and assistance to individuals participating in
Wellspring Circle's Day Habilitation Program, helping to create a supportive,
engaging, and person-centered environment. DSPs will be dedicated to fostering
independence, personal growth, skill development, and meaningful social
connections while supporting individuals in achieving the goals outlined in their
Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Day Habilitation setting.
- Assist participants in achieving goals identified in their Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Facilitate and participate in meaningful daily activities focused on life skills, social development, communication, community integration, health and wellness, recreation, and personal growth.
- Support participants in developing problem-solving skills, self-help skills, adaptive skills, daily living skills, and interpersonal relationships.
- Encourage independence, self-advocacy, personal choice, and community inclusion.
- Assist participants with behavioral supports, communication needs, and safety throughout the day.
- Provide safe transportation for participants to and from the Day Habilitation Program within approximately a 15-mile radius of the facility, as well as to scheduled community outings, recreational activities, educational experiences, volunteer opportunities, and other program-related trips on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Transportation will be provided using Wellspring Circle vehicles.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and participant progress in accordance with DDD requirements and agency policies.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive program environment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years
- Valid Driver’s License is Mandatory
- DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) and CDS (College of Direct Support Required Trainings) and training set forth by Wellspring Circle, CPR/First Aid (will be provided by Wellspring Circle)
- Required Background Checks and Fingerprinting
- Good communication skills and writing skills, proper utilization of computer documentation associated with THERAP’s Electronic Record Knowledge and Experience:
- 1 year of experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral Management (recommended)
- Vital to be comfortable providing Direct Care

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience and successful completion of
DDD and College of Direct Support Professionals required training
