Position Type: Seasonal – Summer 2026
Pay: $110 /day
Minimum Age to Apply: 18
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Camp Hours (7:15 AM - 5:00 PM)
Looking for a summer job that’s both rewarding and full of adventure? If you have a medical background and love working with kids, we’d love to have you on our team! As a Camp Health Lodge Assistant at Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our campers happy, healthy, and ready for all the fun camp has to offer.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting the Camp Nurse with medications, sick calls, and first aid

Keeping the Health Lodge clean, organized, and fully stocked

Ensuring all campers have up-to-date health forms before each session

Coordinating dietary needs with the Dining Lodge

Documenting camper visits and making sure “Ouch Reports” go home

Being a friendly, reassuring presence for campers who need a little extra care
What You’ll Need:

Minimum Age: 18

Education: At least two years of college in a medical-related field

Experience: Two years in a medical facility

Certifications (or willingness to get them!): CPR/First Aid/AED, Camp Staff Training
