Service Area: McKinney, Frisco, Plano & surrounding DFW areas
Strawberry Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one personal assistance services to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming and dressing
- Assist with toileting and personal hygiene
- Provide mobility, walking and transfer assistance
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Assist with errands and shopping when assigned
- Provide medication reminders within the caregiver’s permitted role
- Follow each client’s individualized service plan
- Document services accurately and on time
- Report changes in the client’s condition or needs
- Maintain client privacy, dignity and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Caregiving experience preferred
- CNA certification preferred but not required for all caregiver positions
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to communicate professionally with clients and families
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance when driving is required
- Able to complete required background/employment screening
- Willing to complete Strawberry Home Care orientation and training
Schedule
Day, evening, overnight and weekend assignments may become available. Hours will depend on client needs and caregiver availability.
Compensation
$18–$20/hour, depending on experience and assignment. Holiday pay and mileage reimbursement apply when eligible under Agency policy.
