Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Truck Manager/Driver to lead our mobile culinary operations. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely operating the food truck, preparing and serving high-quality food, managing daily inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive the success of our food truck business by overseeing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and managing operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine culinary passion with management expertise in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the food truck, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, loading supplies in & out, and minimizing waste.
- Handle POS systems for order processing and cash handling with accuracy.
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, food safety protocols, and POS operation.
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling team members and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with local health regulations.
- Conduct basic math calculations for cash register balancing, sales reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Must have truck driving experience & hold a current Food Manager's Certification.
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (heat, cold).
- Must e able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
- Prior management or supervisory experience in a hospitality or food service setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and local health regulations.
- Strong team management skills including staff training, interviewing, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as staff supervision and customer interaction.
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely over long distances; valid driver’s license required.
- Culinary experience in casual dining or catering environments is a plus;
- Basic math skills for financial transactions and inventory calculations; attention to detail essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
