Community builder wanted
We're growing our tabletop gaming section — and we need someone who lives and breathes it. This role is equal parts retail associate, Games Workshop expert, and local community champion. If you can paint a Space Marine and explain the lore to a newcomer in the same breath, we want to hear from you.
About the role
As our Tabletop & Games Workshop Retail Associate, you'll own the day-to-day operations of a remote retail location while driving real growth in our tabletop gaming section. You'll be the face of the hobby in our store — building community, supporting customers, and keeping things running accurately behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Store operations - Lead daily floor operations, maintain store presentation, and ensure consistent execution of opening, closing, and retail procedures.
- Tabletop & GW section - Own the Games Workshop and tabletop range — product knowledge, merchandising, and keeping the section well-stocked and well-presented.
- Community & events - Organise in-store gaming nights, painting sessions, and demos to new comers. Coordinate with volunteer gaming vanguards to support and grow a loyal local community.
- Social media & outreach - Drive store presence on social media and tabletop forums. Engage with the broader hobby community online to attract new players and regulars
- Inventory & customer service - Receive and verify stock from the warehouse, maintain POS accuracy, and deliver knowledgeable, friendly service to every customer.
