Job Description: Office Manager (Part-Time)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Office Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (20-25 hours per week). As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our tutoring company. Your professional acumen and passion for the community will contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for our students, their families, and our tutors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record- keeping.
- Oversee student enrollment and maintain accurate student records.
- Coordinate tutor schedules and ensure timely communication with students and tutors.
- Handle customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assist in organizing community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging and engagement among students and their families.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to implement and improve office processes and procedures.
- Support the tutoring team with any administrative needs to ensure a seamless tutoring experience for students.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance our educational services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with students, parents, and tutors.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Passion for community engagement and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic success.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
