The Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing information about Huntsville to guests and customers and for assisting them in the most efficient and professional manner possible.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts with guests and customers by telephone; in-person and by mail and email on a daily basis.
- Handles all travel inquires and information requests; i.e.; directions; maps; brochures; etc.
- Prepares group meeting request forms.
- Balances cash drawer daily to detailed reports and prepares daily bank deposit.
- Compiles daily end of the day numbers.
- Responds to customer requests for information about the City; including City services.
- Promotes Huntsville in a positive manner to all guests and customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma.
- A minimum of one (1) year clerical experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word; Excel; PowerPoint).

Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical calculations with or without the aid of a calculator.
- Ability to prepare daily bank deposits.
