CNC Machine Shop - Forklift Operator (1st Shift)
Job shop is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator.
AS9100 and IATF16949 Certified Job Shop specializing in high precision machined parts for the aircraft and automotive industry is currently looking for experienced and Certified Forklift Operator to be part of our team and grow with the company.

Available Positions: Forklift Operator
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A SIT-DOWN DOUBLE FORK FORKLIFT
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- MUST HAVE A VALID CA CERTIFIED FORKLIFT OPERATORS CERTIFICATE
- The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating required lift equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting raw materials.
- The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operations of the vehicle.
- Inspect and perform minor daily maintenance on the lift equipment or other equipment.
- Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as instructed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Taking care of cleanliness in certain areas.
- Must pay attention to details and follow instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Quality
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Report and document quality variances.
Order Picking
- Pull and prepare product for shipment as instructed.
- Prepare goods/pallets for shipping out.
Inventory
- Maintain certain inventories of operating resources for production and advise if stock gets low.
- Assist in physical inventories.
Receiving
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in appropriate areas.
- Read/recognize carton or product information and receiving documents.
Loading
- Efficiently move products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using required material handling equipment such as a sit-down forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment.
Safety and Security
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Will be required to provide a valid, non-expired forklift certification
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Must be able to perfectly execute verbal instructions
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school education or equivalent
- Job shop environment

Pay: $20.00 per hour
