About the Role
We are seeking motivated, self-driven individuals to join our team as licensed independent insurance brokers. In this 1099 contractor role, you will meet clients face-to-face in the field, helping them navigate health and life insurance options that fit their needs. There are no assigned territories or quotas — you work your own leads, build your own referral network, and grow your business entirely on your terms. This is a true entrepreneurial opportunity for people who want complete control over their time and income.
What You'll Do
- Purchase leads directly through the IMO, or generate your own leads and referrals through networking or any other outlet you choose
- Educate potential clients on Medicare (Part A, B, C, D, Supplements) and life insurance products
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Complete applications and guide clients through the enrollment process
- Build and maintain a personal book of business through relationship-based selling
- Stay current on carrier products, CMS guidelines, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Comfortable with face-to-face sales and client outreach
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in health, life insurance, or direct sales
- Active state insurance license (Life & Health) — or a willingness to obtain one (we can help!)
- Sales experience is a plus!
