Trim Press Operator
Our client is seeking a dependable Trim Press Operator to join their manufacturing team in Grayslake, IL. This position is responsible for operating a trim press, separating finished parts, preparing materials for production, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Requirements of the Trim Press Operator
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities of the Trim Press Operator
- Operate a trim press to remove excess material from molded parts.
- Hand-degate finished parts and sort them into designated containers.
- Inspect parts during production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Report quality concerns or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
1st and 2nd shift available
Pay is $17.00 - $18.00 hourly, based on experience
