We are experiencing significant growth and are looking for a hands-on Recruiter / HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both recruiting and employee relations, loves being in the business, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to build talent pipelines from the ground up.
Position Summary
The Recruiter / HRBP will serve as the local talent acquisition and human resources partner for Appolo Heating. This individual will be responsible for recruiting skilled trades professionals while supporting managers and employees with HR initiatives, employee relations, onboarding, engagement, and workforce planning.
This is a highly visible role that partners directly with operational leadership to help drive business results.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition
- Recruit HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Customer Service, Sales, and Leadership talent
- Conduct sourcing through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, trade schools, community outreach, and networking
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through onboarding
- Organize hiring events, career fairs, and grassroots recruiting initiatives
- Build relationships with trade schools, military organizations, and workforce development groups
- Develop local recruiting strategies to attract top talent
Human Resources Business Partner
- Partner with leaders on employee relations matters
- Support onboarding and new hire integration
- Coach managers on performance management and employee development
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives
- Support compliance, policy administration, and HR best practices
- Analyze workforce trends and staffing needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, HR experience, or a combination of both
- Experience supporting field operations, skilled trades, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or service organizations preferred
- Strong sourcing and networking skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
- Performance Bonus Opportunity (15%)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
