Cloud & Compute SRE Lead (Governance & Operational Manager)

The Cloud & Compute SRE Lead acts as the Governance and Operational Manager for our Business-As-Usual (BAU) Operations Team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-velocity engineering and disciplined operational excellence.

Experience
7+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
3+ years in a leadership, team lead, or operational management role.
Proven track record managing large-scale public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Technical Certifications in Cloud & Compute Technologies
Skills
Infrastructure as Code: Deep expertise in Terraform, OpenTofu, cloud-native policies, or Ansible.
Containerization & Orchestration: Strong understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and compute runtimes.
Observability Tools: Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Multi-Cloud Platform hands on experience/exposure on AWS Cloud, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
Relevant knowledge on Compute technologies to manage Windows, VMWare, Linux/Unix and Hardware
Mandatory Skills: AWS Cloud Operations .
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
