Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris to various job sites. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, infrastructure projects, or waste management operations with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers with precision and care.
- Load and unload materials efficiently using manual handling techniques or equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Follow designated routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver freight including hazardous materials or refrigerated trailers as required by the job.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks.
- Familiarity with route driving, logistics cargo handling, and freight delivery operations.
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation and manual handling procedures.
- Prior experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed loads, tankers, or hazardous materials is highly desirable.
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and hazardous materials regulations is essential.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type operated.
- Experience using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution.

Pay: $26.43 - $30.00 per hour
