Job Summary: Responsible for supporting analytical services regularly with quantitative and qualitative testing in the microbiology laboratory. Provide quality results in a fast-paced production environment. Support the quality function in the laboratory.
Key Job Functions:
1. Perform routine and non-routine testing microbiological analyses.
2. Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
3. Work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Support others on the QC laboratory team.
5. Assist in writing and editing SOPs.
6. Perform routine and non-routine projects with guidance.
7. Maintain an efficient, clean, and safe work environment following good laboratory practices.
8. Understands and operates the Biolumix system and quantitative method.
9. Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Microbiology laboratory experience, 0-5 years or equivalent education.
3. Familiar with ISO 17025 standards.
4. Familiar with manufacturing requirements for 21 CFR 11, 117 and 111.
5. Familiarity with cGXP, such as cGLP, cGMP, and cGDP.
6. Must have microbiology background.
Skills:
1. Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
2. Must be able to work well with others and follow directions.
3. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
4. Must have excellent communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and be able to understand LIMS and Citrix systems
