Duties
- Ensures proper set up of tables
- Inspects linen, silver, china and other items prior to using them
- Takes customer orders and provides suggestions for both beverage and food
- Reports beverage orders to bartenders, ensure drinks are garnishes before serving
- Coordinates service with other servers and kitchen
- Serves food and beverages to guests, refills beverages as needed
- Removes dirty glasses, linens and dishes from lounge area
- Responds to customer requests and complaintsCleans lounge area during and after events
- Adheres to legal and/or company policies and standards
- Understands and follows the laws and guidelines for beverage service
- Closes out the customer’s bill applying cash and credit cards in accordance with established procedures
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
- Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
- Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.
- Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations:
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
- Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of experience in similar position within an upscale environment is preferred
- Basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic
- Must be at least 21 years old in order to serve alcohol
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to relate to all levels of guests and management
- Must possess a strong team spirit
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds, occasionally, for short periods of time
- Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, stages and other banquet meeting fixtures
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs, occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, constantly

Pay: $20.76 per hour
