Experienced HVAC Install Helper
Fast Response Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC Install Helper to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who already understands the basics of residential HVAC installation, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to continue developing into a skilled lead installer.
Pay: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill level
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with residential HVAC system replacements and installations
- Remove and properly dispose of existing HVAC equipment
- Assist with installation of condensers, furnaces, air handlers, evaporator coils, and heat pumps
- Assist with sheet metal, plenums, transitions, ductwork, drain lines, electrical connections, and refrigerant piping
- Safely move equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Protect customers' homes and leave the work area better than we found it
- Keep installation vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and manufacturer requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers and other team members
- Complete assigned training and continue developing HVAC installation skills
What We're Looking For
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience required
- Working knowledge of common HVAC tools and installation procedures
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving HVAC equipment
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time and ready to work
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person installation team
