Highland Animal Clinic is a well-established, privately owned companion animal practice in South Anchorage, and we’re looking for a compassionate, organized Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative, highly skilled technical team.

Medicine You’ll Practice
- Advanced nursing care and patient advocacy
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dentistry and dental radiography
- Surgical assistance
- Diagnostic imaging (digital radiography)
- In-house laboratory testing (blood chemistry, urinalysis)
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Experience as a veterinary technician or technician assistant
- Preferred: Credentialed veterinary technician
- Strong foundation in pharmacology, anesthesia, and patient monitoring
- Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- 20–40 hours per week
- No after-hours or weekend responsibilities
- Emergency and overnight hospitalization cases referred to local ER clinics
