Location: Volta Café or Volta Mobile Cafes – Nashville, TN
Job Overview: The Event Set-Up Crew Member will be responsible for the set-up, tear down and customer service operations of all private and public events and catering events hosted by Volta Cafe. This includes navigating event venues and private businesses, speaking with event hosts and planners, organizing and counting warehouse inventory, preparing food and beverages, and representing Volta as a brand ambassador at our events and cafes. This is a part-time position with hours depending on the cafe and event schedule.
Overview:
- Set up and tear down private, public, and catering events.
- Represent Volta Cafe as a brand ambassador.
- Maintain a clean driving record while operating company trailer and other vehicles.
- Move and maintain heavy equipment and event marketing material.
- Navigate event venues and communicate with hosts or planners.
- Organize and count warehouse inventory accurately.
- Prepare food and beverages for event guests.
- Act as a brand ambassador and event staff.
- Working hours are scheduled based on the event calendar, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be upbeat, reliable, and passionate about educating guests on a new concept.
Availability Requirements:
- In town and consistently available during the first 90 days of employment.
