Vascular Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our growing Office-Based Laboratory (OBL) in Tinley Park, Illinois. Our practice specializes in advanced vascular and endovascular procedures delivered in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting focused on exceptional patient care, safety, and outcomes.

The OBL Registered Nurse plays a critical role in patient care throughout the procedural experience, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedural support, recovery, and discharge. This position works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Perform patient admissions, assessments, recoveries, and discharges.

Administer and monitor conscious sedation.

Circulate and document during vascular and endovascular procedures.

Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards.

Provide patient education before and after procedures.

Conduct post-procedure follow-up and wellness calls.

Assist with medication management, prescription refills, and patient triage.

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Arterial and venous angiography

Dialysis access interventions

AV fistula and graft procedures

Thrombectomy procedures

Atherectomy procedures

Peripheral vascular interventions

Venous disease treatments
Requirements:
-
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
BLS certification
-
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

Excellent patient education and communication skills, including providing pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients and families.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation in a procedural care environment.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Preferred

Cath Lab experience

Interventional Radiology experience
-
ICU, PACU, or procedural nursing experience

ACLS certification

Experience administering conscious sedation

Experience working in an Office-Based Lab (OBL), Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment.

Demonstrated experience assisting with minimally invasive vascular or endovascular procedures.

Experience collaborating with Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Full-Time Monday – Friday Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Hours may vary slightly based on patient schedule and procedural volume.
