Summary
Load, drive and deliver orders to customers in a timely and safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Be able to load up material on delivery truck once load is built;
- Drive order to customer address;
- Onload / offload product;
- Communicate professionally with customers;
- Drive safely and ensure truck is parked in a safe manner;
- Help build loads if necessary;

Continuous Learning – Be able to be open to new procedures and tips for how to load and delivery loads safely and professionally
Job Knowledge – Experience preferred. Be knowledgeable about different kinds of trucks and their features and parts. Proper loading and unloading procedures.
Use of Technology – GPS and other directional tools. Truck features.
Problem Solving – Be able to come up with solutions as unexpected situations can arise out in the field
Communications – Be able to communicate with dispatch and order builders to get the right product to the right location on time exercising proper safety procedures throughout the transaction

Oral Communication – Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers
Teamwork – Team player mentality
Written Communication – Be able to successfully read the tags, addresses and take or make any customer notes to report back to dispatch
Strategic Thinking – Be able to come up with solutions if difficult delivery locations arise
Personal Appearance – Must present oneself in a professional manner at all times. Must wear proper safety apparel when out on deliveries and jobsites (I.e., safety vests)
Attendance/Punctuality – Must report to work on time for your scheduled shift and make delivery window deadlines. Must report any known absences and any unknown as soon as possible
