As the Food and Beverage Events and restaurant supervisor, they will be primarily overseeing the events portion and ensuring execution of all events and reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage. Should there not be any events scheduled the Food and Beverage Events and restaurant supervisor will assist in the restaurant operation, as manger on duty and ensure service is running smooth. A Food and Beverage Events and restaurant supervisor duties center around the successful execution of an event. They play a key role in the coordination of event staff and often work closely with clients to arrange the necessary preparations
- Ensuring BEOs are followed as well as timelines and floor plans are followed
- Ensuring all boh event areas are cleaned and organized
- Keeping track of all rental orders (For once delivered and for pickup)
- Keeping inventory of event materials such as dispensers, glasses, serve ware, linens, etc
- Delegating tasks to staff members and ensuring they are completed
- Uniforms are being worn and enforced, and stage ready
- Making order list for upcoming events, including rentals orders.
- Keeping in touch with person of contact to ensure things are running on timeline
- Following all SOPs for events
- Being communicative with F&B managers and BOH of any changes to timeline, update communication is key.
- Handling problems that arise during the event
- Making sure spaces are put back to show ready condition after completion of events
- Ensuring everything is put away properly
- Making sure inventories are done for beverages after all events
- Ensuring all spaces are set up in advance, food is dropped early and always prepared in anticipation of guests arriving early
