Job Summary
WeCare Dental is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our growing private practice. We are looking for a clinician who is confident in comprehensive treatment planning, committed to providing exceptional patient care, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is required. Candidates must also have proven experience placing dental implants independently. Experience in additional surgical procedures and endodontics is highly preferred.

About Our Practice
- Predominantly Fee-for-Service (FFS) and PPO patient base with a large, loyal patient following.
- We also participate with a limited number of Medicaid and Medicare plans.
- Multi-specialty practice offering comprehensive dental care under one roof.
- 8-operatory facility equipped with digital technology and an experienced clinical support team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide restorative dentistry, crown and bridge procedures, removable prosthodontics, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases while educating patients on treatment options and oral health.
- Independently perform dental implant placement surgeries.
- Perform routine and surgical extractions as indicated.
- Perform endodontic treatment when appropriate (preferred).
- Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
- Utilize digital radiography, CBCT imaging, and modern dental technology to diagnose and plan treatment.
- Accurately document patient records and treatment in the practice management software.
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to provide efficient, patient-centered care.
- Adhere to all OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and New York State regulations regarding infection control and patient privacy.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and ethical approach with every patient interaction.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active New York dental license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a general dentist.
- Demonstrated experience independently placing dental implants (required).
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dental team.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and long-term treatment outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surgical extractions, including impacted third molars and other oral surgery procedures.
- Experience performing endodontic treatment, including molar root canal therapy.
- Experience with full-mouth rehabilitation and complex restorative cases.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry, CBCT imaging, and intraoral scanning.
- Experience working in a busy PPO and insurance-based private practice.
