Primary Duties:
- Review and monitor customer open order reports.
- Manages all aspects of routing orders in accordance with time obligations and compliance to effectively meet customers expectations.
- Interacts with customer by phone and e-mail to keep them apprised of any issue(s) that may impact customer relationship: shipping, tracking and inventory of customer merchandise.
- Maintains an excellent working relationship with customers acting as a liason between the warehouse and the customer.
- Schedule orders for pick-ups with carriers.
- Update shipping log to keep track of scheduled pickups for the day.
- Ability to effectively present up to date information to management in daily ship list meeting.
- Contributes to building a team spirit by supporting all staff members and co-workers.
- Reports customer feedback to Manager, including any sign of customer dissatisfaction.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple demands
- Experience with multiple operating and warehouse management systems
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Proficient in data entry.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Router in a 3PL environment specializing in garments.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
