The Peak Jani-King team at Border Casino is excited to announce we are growing our staff and now hiring for our EVS Supervisor position! We are seeking candidates who fit the following criteria:
Must be able to work 3d shift hours: 10pm - 6:30am
Qualifications
- Previous EVS or housekeeping experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate EVS 1 and EVS 2 employees
- Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable for all assigned shifts
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to resolve conflicts and enforce company policies fairly and consistently
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of EVS 1 and EVS 2 employees, ensuring assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards
- Assign and monitor work tasks for EVS staff
- Train and mentor EVS 1 and EVS 2 employees, providing guidance and feedback
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
- Conduct inspections of assigned areas and report findings to management
- Assist with scheduling, call-outs, and shift coverage as needed
- Lead special cleaning projects and coordinate deep cleaning tasks
- Act as a liaison between staff and management, addressing concerns and relaying information
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Requires standing or walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in environments with smoke, moderate noise, and bright lights.
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations.
