Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in New York, NY. The Junior Store Manager will support the daily operations of the store, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, managing staff, facilitating smooth store functions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include supervising inventory management, addressing customer concerns, and applying retail loss prevention strategies to maintain operational efficiency and minimize losses. The Junior Store Manager will collaborate with team members to uphold company standards and promote a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and improve KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Resolve escalated client issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding store associates.
- Ensure the store consistently reflects brand standards and delivers a premium retail environment.
- Prepare and report daily sales performance.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability and manage stock turnover to support ordering plans.
- Execute product displays and promotional setups, collaborating with HQ operation teams.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualification
- Strong interest in K-Beauty trends, products, and brands.
- Fluent in both Korean and English is a plus
- Proactive communicator with good cross-functional collaboration skills
- Candidates with a valid visa who can work legally in the U.S.
- Previous experience in retail management and customer service is preferred.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York. The role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, which may include weekends depending on business needs. Overtime (paid) may be required, and the schedule will be established and fixed in advance through mutual agreement.
While primarily based in a retail store, this role involves regular travel between up to three store locations within Manhattan. Responsibilities include conducting product checks, reviewing merchandising standards, assessing inventory levels, and staying closely aligned with real-time customer trends.
Compensation
The starting base pay rate for this position is $24–$30/hr, depending on experience, skill level, and other job-related factors.
