Job Overview
We're seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Ovivi's Restaurant, an American fusion restaurant that serves creative and delicious dishes. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting signature cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beers, and wines to our high standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and creating a positive experience
- Develop knowledge of our cocktail menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling tips and gratuities responsibly
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure seamless service and excellent customer experience
- Participate in inventory management, restocking supplies, and maintaining bar operations
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mixology, including cocktail preparation and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and focused demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with guests and staff
- Ability to multitask, handling multiple orders and requests simultaneously
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with craft cocktails and mixology trends
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Certification in mixology or bartending (e.g. USBG, BarSmarts)
- Experience working in a high-end or upscale restaurant environment
