Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment and systems across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance or directing outside contractors regarding necessary repairs to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose issues accurately using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the properties, correcting any unsafe practice or situation, particularly in snow and/or ice conditions.
- Participate in construction projects and tenant buildouts.
- Order parts and supplies as needed.
- Operate and maintain power equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
- Assist in maintaining the grounds around the properties, including lawn care, general landscaping, and snow removal.
- Respond to trouble/complaint maintenance requests throughout the properties when directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Ability to travel to various properties in and around the Eau Claire area. Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of repair techniques.
- Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, installation, and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with construction practices relevant to equipment installation or upgrades.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push or pull 100 lbs. and lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, crawl, kneel and be low to the ground when necessary, sometimes for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and read.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
