Dog daycare and overnight boarding kennel seeking a passionate and committed dog handler, kennel tech, and receptionist.
Part time and full time positions, between 18-36 hours per week avg. If you can't work weekends or holidays, this position is not for you.
Requirements:
- Must love dogs and look forward to spending your days with them.
- Be familiar with dog behaviors and willing to interfere when necessary.
- Must be confident in groups of dogs, and able to maintain control over a group of dogs.
- Our kennel techs are responsible for supervising, feeding, and watering all dogs, as well as maintaining the safety, health, and cleanliness of the dogs and play areas.
- Must be willing and able to clean kennels and play areas with a commitment to meeting the standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to precisely follow detailed directions for feeding, exercising and providing care to each specific dog.
- Must bring a good attitude and energy while working with customers, dogs, and co-workers.
- Physical ability to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds, when needed.
-Answer all incoming phone calls/emails.
-Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Must be reliable, responsible and on time for work every day.
- Must be familiar with social media and willing to engage on our platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok)
- Availability to work weekends & holidays!
