Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PC & Server Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will build, inspect, and functionally test PC and server hardware, performing in-line quality control at each stage of the assembly process to ensure every unit meets our quality standards before it ships. You'll work efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Assembly: Assemble PC and server hardware (motherboards, CPUs, RAM, storage drives, power supplies, cabling, and chassis) according to build specifications and work instructions.
- In-Line Quality Control: Conduct visual and physical inspections of parts and products at each stage of the assembly process to catch defects early and ensure builds meet quality standards.
- Functional Testing: Perform functional testing on completed systems (power-on/POST checks, burn-in, and diagnostic software) to confirm proper operation before units move to the next stage.
- QC Tools & Equipment: Use precision QC tools and equipment (calipers, torque drivers, multimeters, gauges, and diagnostic software) to verify product dimensions, connections, and functionality.
- Equipment & Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on assembly line equipment and machinery, and promptly report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Follow ESD (electrostatic discharge) and other safety protocols when handling sensitive components
- Accurately document inspection results, test outcomes, and any issues identified
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the assembly team to meet production targets
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge of PC/server assembly and QC processes
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in computer/PC assembly
- Preferred: Some experience in electronic quality control processes
- Familiarity with QC tools and testing equipment (calipers, multimeters, torque drivers, diagnostic software)
- Basic understanding of PC/server hardware components and how they fit together
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail, with a sharp eye for identifying minor defects or deviations from standards
- Ability to stand and walk the production floor throughout a shift
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Min: High School Diploma, Preferred:Associate degree or technical certification
- Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Open to learning new skills, tools, and procedures.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
