We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Assemble and weld pipes using appropriate techniques and materials.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for installation and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
