Reports To: Production and Maintenance Supervisor

Summary
Maintains all plant machines to keep them working properly by performing the following duties.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Standards
Maintains all manufacturing equipment.
Performs general maintenance on forklifts.
Ensures HVAC system is running properly.
Orders parts and supplies as needed.
Works production when needed.
Crushes blood tubes from the lab.
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Focuses on Serval USA’s vision and goals and considers the best interest of Serval USA and its employees, customers, and patrons while performing job duties.
Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents and promotes Serval USA at all times.
Maintains confidentiality.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:
High school diploma or general educations (GED); one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions. .

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand 1/3-2/3 of each hour during a shift. The employee will bend, twist, reach, grasp, push, and pull 33-200 times per shift. The employee is required to sit, drive, and operate foot controls up to 1/3 of each hour during a shift. The employee may squat, kneel, and climb 1-32 times per shift. Heavy lifting and or moving is required for this position. The employee will lift and or move up to 20# 33-200 times per shift and more than 100# 1-32 times per shift.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
