MDK is seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to join our Human Resources Department. The HR Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across multiple Human Resources functions, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, HRIS maintenance, payroll support, compliance activities, and employee records administration. This position plays a key role in ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Your Role in Action
Support day-to-day HR operations by maintaining accurate employee records, department files, documentation, and HR-related data.
Coordinate recruiting activities, including posting positions, reviewing resumes against job qualifications, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting background check and closeout processes.
Assist with onboarding activities for new hires, including scheduling, preparing materials, creating employee badges, assembling welcome gifts, and supporting orientation in partnership with the Training Specialist.
Maintain employee information in the HRIS and help ensure employee records, organizational data, and system information remain accurate and up to date.
Support payroll-related tasks, including timecard review, data entry, and audits.
Support benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and terminations; maintaining benefit records; assisting with invoice reconciliation; supporting open enrollment; and responding to routine employee questions.
Assist with leave administration by tracking leave requests, maintaining documentation, coordinating with third-party administrators or vendors, and helping ensure records are complete and current.
Prepare routine reports and provide HR-related data to support recruiting, benefits, payroll, leave administration, compliance, and other HR needs.
Coordinate employment verification requests by providing authorized employment information, maintaining documentation, and ensuring requests are handled accurately and timely.
Serve as a helpful point of contact for routine HR questions from employees, applicants, vendors, and other partners.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information and support compliance with company policies and applicable requirements.
Assist with HR process improvements, special projects, and other related duties as assigned.

Your Background & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
One to three years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting coordination, administrative support, payroll support, benefits administration, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and follow through on tasks.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with employees, applicants, vendors, and leaders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Experience with HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking systems, or related software preferred.
Ability to learn new systems, processes, and requirements quickly.

Our team works Monday through Friday during general business hours. After a successful orientation period, we offer a hybrid schedule that provides flexibility to work both from home and in the office.
