OCY Management is a leading taxi transportation company serving Orange County and surrounding areas. We provide reliable and safe taxi services to our customers, offering both traditional taxi rides, Uber, and convenient app-based booking through RideYellow.
We also service multiple city, county, state, and federal programs, including ACCESS transportation for elderly and disabled passengers. These programs help provide a steady stream of trip opportunities for our drivers beyond what is available on typical rideshare platforms.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Independent Contractor Taxi Drivers. As an independent contractor, you have the flexibility to set your own schedule and work when it suits you. The more you work, the more opportunity you have to earn.
This is a great opportunity for drivers who are reliable, professional, customer-service focused, and interested in operating their own transportation business with the support of an established local transportation company.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable transportation services to passengers in Orange County and surrounding areas
- Operate vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws, company standards, and applicable regulations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatch, and company staff
- Assist elderly and disabled passengers when appropriate
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of Orange County and surrounding areas is helpful
- Experience with elderly and/or disabled passengers is a plus
- Prior taxi, rideshare, delivery, shuttle, or transportation experience is a plus
- Drug test and background check are required

When you drive with OCY Management, you may still be able to accept rideshare trips in addition to taxi, account, airport, and program-based trips while operating our vehicles.
