Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bronze Machine Shop Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, manufacturing precision components, inspecting finished products, and supporting daily production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
- Set up and safely operate production machinery according to work instructions.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance throughout the production process.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
- Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and mechanical blueprints.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming products.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow production schedules and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, or similar production equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
