About the Role
Every family is unique, but our nanny positions share one common goal—providing safe, nurturing, and engaging care that supports each child's development while helping busy families maintain a smooth daily routine.
Our positions range from caring for infants and toddlers to school-aged children and may include before-school, after-school, part-time, or full-time schedules.
Typical ResponsibilitiesChildcare
- Provide attentive, loving care for children of all ages.
- Foster age-appropriate developmental milestones.
- Plan engaging activities including crafts, sensory play, educational games, reading, and outdoor adventures.
- Encourage learning, creativity, independence, and positive social development.
- Prepare healthy snacks and light meals.
- Assist with homework and school routines when applicable.
- Transport children to school, activities, appointments, parks, libraries, museums, and playdates (position dependent).
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities.
Household Support
Many of our families appreciate assistance with light household tasks related to the children and the overall flow of the home, including:
- Children's laundry.
- Light housekeeping and tidying.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Cleaning up after meals and activities.
- Light meal preparation.
- Organizing children's bedrooms, playrooms, and common areas.
- Occasional pet care such as feeding or letting pets outside.
- Other light household assistance as requested by the family.
Qualifications
We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who genuinely enjoy working with children.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous professional childcare experience.
- Prior nanny experience is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with teaching experience, daycare or preschool experience and other professional childcare backgrounds
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Clean driving history (minor traffic violations may be considered).
- Ability to provide professional childcare references.
Required Certifications & Clearances
Candidates must have—or be willing to obtain—the following before placement:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check
- FBI Fingerprinting
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
